BE-YOU-tiful

When you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror, you should tell yourself that you are beautiful. Know that you are the best you there are out there. If you don’t know that you’re beautiful and have confidence in yourself then it can lead to serious problems. These problems include:
·      Low self-esteem
·      Sadness
·      Feeling like you don’t belong
·      Health risks such as eating disorders.

Having low self-esteem can lead to health risks such as eating disorders. Eating disorders are illnesses that cause people to think they are not beautiful unless they are tiny and skinny. Some people think they HAVE to be skinny in order to be beautiful. This is not true. That is because being beautiful does not come in any shape, size, or form. Everyone around you is beautiful and everything around you is beautiful, too.

Don’t talk yourself down because that will only make you sad! Remembering to have a positive attitude when looking at you is always very important. Never let anyone tell you how to look or what not to look like. Whatever you want to be is allowed! We’re all allowed to be happy and comfortable in our own bodies.

Learning to be comfortable in your own body can be hard for some people. However, you can easily help yourself to be comfortable in your own body! These are some simple tips you can to do help remind yourself that you are beautiful:
·      Laugh a lot!
·      Be positive
·      Smile everyday
·      Be kind

Remind others around you that they are beautiful, too! It’s important to remind the people around you that they are also beautiful. That is because you don’t want anyone else feeling upset with the way they look. You don’t want the people around you feeling uncomfortable in their own bodies. No one should ever feel like they don’t belong because of the way they look! Here are some simple ways to remind people they’re beautiful:
·      Tell them they look good
·      Be nice!
·      Always be honest
·      Be accepting

Always remember to be yourself. If you’re not yourself, then who will be? No one! Be the best you. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re not beautiful. Always hold your head high with a smile on your face. Remember that you ARE important! There is no real image of beauty. We are all unique in different ways! Tall, short, thin, thick… We are all beautiful in our own special ways.

  1. In the first sentence, I would not say in the morning twice. The last paragraph seems redundant. I would not say We are all beautiful in our own ways then say we are all beautiful in our own special ways. Maybe try to combine the two. I think it is very good for the audience we are writing to. I noticed a few places a comma should go, but nothing to serious. Good Job

  2. with the introducing sentence I would suggest not using the word morning more than once. other than that I would of possibly added a little more color or a few more pictures to really attract the mind of a young child. good job.

  3. -In the first part, I would say When you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror,
    - Know that you are the best "YOU" out there.
-In the last paragraph I would say, Be the best "YOU" possible.

It looks good otherwise, just adjust your spacing throughout. Don't forget to cite your pictures and add citations in the text where needed. Use the number reference method.
